The Japan Organization for Metals and Energy Security (JOGMEC) has established itself as one of Alberta's most important and enduring partners in Asia. Throughout the years, it has significantly contributed to facilitating Japanese investments in our energy sector, thereby bolstering our economy and creating employment opportunities for the residents of Alberta.

During CERA Week, Alberta and Japan reiterated their dedication to collaboration by renewing the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), aimed at promoting shared priorities and jointly ensuring a sustainable energy future for both Alberta and Japan.
