It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Gord Hobbins. A true pillar of the running community, Gord was not just a dedicated athlete but also the driving force behind Gord's Running Store. His love for the sport, coupled with his generous nature and unwavering support, impacted the lives of many—whether it was during a shared run, offering helpful advice, or simply being a comforting presence.

Despite the challenges he faced, we choose to remember the warmth he brought into our lives, his commitment to others, and the way he fostered connections within the community. The miles ahead will feel longer without him, but his spirit will persist in every stride, every finish line crossed, and every runner he inspired.

In honoring his family's wishes, there will be no public funeral, and we appreciate your understanding as they navigate this difficult time.

Gord's Running Store will continue to operate, just as Gord would have wanted. We kindly ask you to support the employees, who are also mourning this great loss. Your kindness and understanding during this time are deeply appreciated.
