Southern Alberta is on the rise, and Budget 2025 is introducing essential investments aimed at uplifting families, businesses, and communities throughout the region.

✅ Enjoy more take-home pay – $750 personal tax cut ($1,500 for families) 
✅ Accessible healthcare – New Urgent Care Centres opening in Lethbridge & Cypress County 
✅ Enhanced infrastructure – $106M allocated for Highway 3 twinning & $242M for municipal initiatives 
✅ Expanded educational opportunities – $193M in operating grants for post-secondary institutions 
✅ Safer neighborhoods – $72M dedicated to child intervention and related programs 
✅ Schools for expanding communities – Funding for the design and construction of 15 new school projects 
✅ $5 million earmarked for planning to boost ICU capacity in southern Alberta and launch a cardiac catheterization lab in Lethbridge.
