Poland is intensifying its military preparedness, as Prime Minister Donald Tusk revealed initiatives to train all adult males for military service, aiming to establish an army of 500,000 personnel.

Tusk further suggested the potential development of nuclear capabilities, the use of landmines, and a reconsideration of arms treaties in response to escalating security concerns regarding Russian aggression and the uncertain commitment of the United States to NATO under Trump.

Additionally, President Andrzej Duda is advocating for a defense budget that allocates 4% of the nation's GDP, which would represent the highest level of defense spending within NATO.
