Heartbreakingly, Earl and his wife had to step in to raise their 6-year-old niece after her mother lost her battle with addiction. No family should have to endure this kind of loss.

I've heard countless stories like these from so many Albertans- that's why our government is introducing compassionate intervention. This will ensure people struggling with addiction get the help they need before it's too late. We're taking action so more families can be spared this pain.
