Calgary police investigating south east suspicious death in the city of Calgary

Calgary  Homicide  Unit  investigators are on  the  scene of a suspicious death in the  city's  southeast, according to a  news  release.
 
  At approximately 4:15 p.m. on Sunday, police were called to the 2200 block of 42 Street S. e.  , in the community of Forest Lawn, for reports that a  critically  injured  man  was  discovered in an alley.
 
  An  EMS  spokesperson  said  paramedics responded to the scene.

  The  SEM  confirmed the  man's  death,  the police  statement  said.
 
  The  statement  said  officers will remain on scene to  collect  CCTV footage and speak  with  potential witnesses. Police say  they  do  not  yet  have  a description of the  suspect.
 
  Police are  appealing  for  anyone with information on the matter to come forward.
 
  An autopsy will be  performed  early this week to determine  the  cause of death.
