At a ceremony today at our Central Phoenix District Office, Governor Katie Hobbs recognized our Arizona Forestry firefighters for their service to the state of California during the devastating Southern California wildfires.

The Governor met with our Task Force Leaders and engine crews who spent two weeks on the Eaton and Palisades Fires along with our crew members who spent their assignments on preposition for initial attack for the U.S. Forest Service - Region 5 and CAL FIRE. Thank you Governor Hobbs for your continued support of our wildland firefighters and our wildland fire program. These guys and gals work hard throughout the year to not only make Arizona a safer place, but they lend a hand to our neighbors in need when the requests come in.#AZFire #AZForestry
