A man  has been hospitalized in  critical condition  after a targeted  attack in southwest  Calgary.

A man was  taken to  the hospital after  being attacked in the  Rosscarrock community on Friday afternoon. Timm Bruch  reports. Police have surrounded a home in the southwest where  they are investigating a serious  assault.
A person was transported to Foothills  Hospital Friday evening  with what Calgary EMS says  are multiple serious  injuries.
Calgary police said they received  multiple 911 calls  regarding a man in physical distress at a residence. They arrived  to find a  40-year-old man wandering the streets with his hands  tied and  his face  covered.
He had  been stabbed and told  police he  had been attacked in a nearby  apartment. Police  evacuated the  home, but no other victims were  found.
The scene  was secured as investigators  arrived on scene.
Police said it was a targeted  attack. They are looking for the  offenders.
