Trump  addressed thousands of supporters at a stadium in Washington DC, where he signed the first  executive orders of his second term, including the US  withdrawal from the Paris climate  agreement.
In the Oval Office, Trump also declared a "national emergency"  on the US-Mexico  border.
"America's golden age begins now," he said in his inaugural address, adding that he  would be a "peacemaker and a  unifier."
Tech billionaires, cabinet  appointees and former presidents were all  in attendance at the  swearing-in ceremony in the US  Capitol Rotunda.

Trump is now back in the Oval Office, where he  will sign more executive  orders.
Among them are  several that deal with determining naturalized citizenship and another  that would declare a "national emergency" at the southern  border of the United States.
"It's a  great project," Trump  said as he  signed.
