#Wetaskawin RCMP  are advising residents along Township Road 441 between Range  Roads 224 and 822 in  Wetaskiwin County to shelter in place. RCMP are responding to an  ongoing incident where the  individual involved is believed to be in possession of  a firearm. Residents  in the area are asked to  stay indoors, lock their  doors, and stay away from windows while  police respond.
A significant number of resources  are being dedicated to responding to this  ongoing incident and protecting the public. Please refrain from posting photos of responding  police officers on social media or  nearby.
