I was happy to participate in the 36th Annual Calgary Community Menorah Lighting last night at City Hall. The menorah is lit as a strong message of optimism, resilience, and community strength, all of which are profoundly ingrained in Albertan culture. As we unite to combat rising antisemitism, we commemorate Hanukkah's resilience and perseverance. Wishing a happy Hanukkah to Alberta's Jewish community and all Jews around the world. May the coming year offer us all peace, light, and unity.
