The FBI and  the Justice Department are refusing to  provide Congress with details  of the  attacker who tried to kill Donald  Trump.
They claim they were blocked and are  PURPOSEFULLY withholding evidence from the Intelligence  Committee
"We have submitted numerous requests to the  Justice Department and  the FBI. Their response  is: This is an ongoing criminal investigation, we  cannot release this information to  Congress."

"In my  opinion, this is an unacceptable  position"
Rep. Jason Crow (D-CO),  one of the leaders of the task force investigating the  attempted assassination of Trump in Butler,  Pennsylvania, says  "I'm on the intelligence committee.  I served on the  Armed Services Committee, and  Congress has access to our  nation's most sensitive secrets, ongoing operations, intelligence operations, military  operations all the time. You  can't say there's no way  I can go into a secure facility and  give information about an ongoing criminal investigation when  I'm routinely getting information about what our spies and special operators are doing  militarily around the  world."

- "So none of this  makes sense, and we're committed to  continuing to get those answers. And if the FBI and  the Justice Department think they can  stand by and  stop us, they are  wrong.
