Bill C-59 is a blatant attack on free speech and an  affront to Canadian democracy.  The federal government is  attempting to silence Alberta businesses and  limit their ability to speak out on environmental issues or criticize Ottawa's flawed policies.
Alberta will not stand  idly by while the  federal government violates our rights or our energy sector. We  strongly support the Alberta Enterprise Group (AEG) and the Independent Contractors and Business Association (ICBA) in their constitutional fight against this draconian legislation.
