Following a stabbing in southeast Calgary on Friday, three people were sent to the hospital; according to an EMS spokeswoman, one of the victims suffered possibly fatal injuries.


According to Calgary EMS, at approximately 4:40 p.m., paramedics were dispatched to a residence in the 100 block of Walden Square Southeast, as reported by Global News. The victim with the most severe injuries was sent to Foothills Medical Centre due to traumatic injuries. Both individuals were transported to South Health Campus in a stable, non-life-threatening state. Police then told Global News that one suspect was in custody and that they were still looking into the possibility of more people being involved.
