The remains of Late Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Taoreed Abiodun Lagb

Lieutenant General Taoreed Abiodun Lagbaja, the late Chief of Army Staff, has had his remains transported to Abuja for last resting at the national cemetery.

In the presence of guards of honour, top military brass, Lagos state government representatives, and Nigerian Officers Wives Association members, his remains were respectfully carried into the Nigerian Navy aircraft.

Born on February 28, 1968, the late Lt. Gen. Taoreed Abiodun Lagbaja served in active duty until his death on November 5, 2024.

From June 2023 to November 2024 he was Nigeria's Chief of Army Staff.
