Google must continue to be "a trusted source of information" regardless of the outcome of the election, according to an urgent email sent by CEO Sundar Pichai to the whole staff on Monday.

The warning follows Trump's assertion that Pichai personally called to discuss the popularity of his searches and threatened to sue Google for allegedly meddling in the election.
