The self-described transgender person Bobrisky's lifestyle has been criticized by the National Council for Arts and Culture (NCAC) on social media.

The council released a violent photo of Olusegun Runsewe, the former NCAC director-general, hitting Bobrisky with a stick in an Instagram post that has since been removed.

Bobrisky was called a "idiot" in the image, which also highlighted the fact that "Nigeria is not Sodom and Gomorrah," alluding to the biblical cities that were destroyed because of their immorality.

NCAC stated in the caption that went with the image: "We are here to correct our youths when they derail." May the Republic of Nigeria be blessed.

While trying to depart the country on Thursday night, the self-described transgender person was pulled out of an airliner by airport personnel.

Bobrisky posted a video of her damaged arm and a cry for assistance on Instagram.

Since activist VeryDarkMan posted a supposedly recorded conversation in which the crossdresser stated that she paid certain EFCC officials N15 million to get money laundering charges against her dropped, the crossdresser has been the centre of attention.

Bobrisky disputed the veracity of the recording and vowed to sue VeryDarkMan.

Two weeks ago, the social media star was also detained at the border in Seme for reportedly trying to escape the nation. For further inquiry, she was moved to the Lagos FCID in Alagbon for research.

It's unclear how the transvestite was released from custody, including whether they were granted bond.

A house of representatives committee is looking into bribery claims against Bobrisky, the EFCC, and the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCS).

Bobrisky is a "national disaster" that presents a significant risk to young people, according to Runsewe in 2019.

"Bobrisky is a national disaster, an embarrassment to the country, and we have to start curtailing his activities before it gets out of hand." He had indicated that he was a crossdresser involved in cultural corruption.

"We will not let Bobrisky ruin our children's and the unborn Nigerians' futures."
