The UCP government will present important laws.

Our UCP administration will present important legislation to guarantee that minors must wait until adulthood to decide whether or not to undergo physical body modification for gender transition in less than a month. In addition, we will make sure that girls and women can participate in sports divisions exclusively for them, as well as bolster parental rights in our educational system about this matter.

Even though these are delicate subjects, our government feels that taking these actions is best for the kids, thus we won't hold off on implementing these adjustments.

We encourage all Albertans to participate in the discussion surrounding this legislation. We must make sure that all children who identify as transgender understand they are accepted and cared for, regardless of differing viewpoints.
