Months before the disastrous wildfire in Jasper, talks were taking place to "cancel planned prescribed burns in Western Canada," according to emails taken from Minister Guilbeault's department.

Since 2017, there have been warnings to the Liberal Government that a catastrophic fire in Jasper would happen sometime, not if.

Liberals disregarded the counsel of specialists in forest management and permitted a tinder box to remain near the Jasper.
