Former President Bolsonaro of Brazil was found guilty of conspiring to carry out a coup.

Brazil's former President Jair Bolsonaro has been found guilty of conspiring to orchestrate a military coup. Four of the five Supreme Court justices involved in the case determined his guilt, while one judge voted for his acquittal. The 70-year-old has been convicted for leading a conspiracy intended to maintain his power following his loss in the 2022 election to his left-wing opponent, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva.
