CHARGE LAID - OFFICER-INVOLVED SHOOTING

A man has been charged with assault following a domestic incident that took place yesterday in the Yorkville area.

Approximately at 12:55 p.m. on Monday, August 18, 2025, authorities received a call regarding a domestic situation at a residence in the 300 block of Yorkville Road S.W.

As a result of the investigation, 61-year-old Bernard Arthur WHITE, a Calgary resident, has been charged with one count of assault.

He is scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday, August 20, 2025.
