The Federal Government has pledged to bring to justice those responsible for the killing of worshippers in Malumfashi Local Government Area of Katsina State.

A state official indicated that the attackers were seeking revenge for their comrades who had been ambushed by residents.

In a statement, the Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, condemned the attack, describing it as callous and barbaric.

He added that security forces are pursuing the criminals and will not rest until they are apprehended and held accountable.
