PRESIDENT TINUBU DEPARTS JAPAN FOR BRAZIL

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu left Yokohama, Japan, on Thursday night for the flight to Brazil, where he will commence a state visit on August 24.

President Tinubu will make a stopover in Los Angeles before proceeding to Brasilia, the capital of Brazil.

President Tinubu started his two-nation visit on Friday, August 15, when he departed from Abuja. He and his entourage stopped over in Dubai, UAE, and arrived in Yokohama early on August 18.

Following his participation in the opening ceremony and plenary of the ninth Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD9) on August 20, President Tinubu conducted several bilateral meetings, which concluded with an interactive session with diaspora Nigerians on Thursday night.
