Namibia and Botswana are set to collaborate on the construction of a significant oil refinery, with an estimated cost of $4 billion.

The facility is projected to process between 60,000 and 100,000 barrels of crude oil daily.

It will manufacture key fuels including petrol, diesel, kerosene, and jet fuel.

The refinery is planned to be located near Walvis Bay in Namibia and Ghanzi in Botswana.

Additionally, it aims to provide fuel to neighboring countries such as Zimbabwe, Zambia, and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
