Alberta Health Services (AHS) reports a rise in E. coli cases linked to the Saskatoon Farm, a restaurant located approximately 20 minutes southeast of Calgary.

In a recent update sent to Global News, AHS stated there are now "107 probable laboratory cases of E. coli" in individuals who consumed food, water, or beverages at the Saskatoon Farm between July 1 and 18.

This number has increased from the 68 cases confirmed by AHS to Global News just over a week prior, on August 6, 2025.

Additionally, AHS has identified the parasite Entamoeba histolytica in 68 of the cases, which is more than double the 26 cases reported as of August 6.
