Mohammed Yaseen was thrilled to join the Somali community in Edmonton and Calgary for Somali Heritage Week, a lively celebration of culture, art, and tradition organized by the Somali Arts and Culture Association Edmonton and the Somali Canadian Society Calgary.

In 2024, Alberta officially designated June 25 to July 1 as Somali Heritage Week for all time. It was truly heartwarming to witness the Somali community coming together in unity, pride, and joy as they celebrated the first anniversary of their heritage week in Alberta. A heartfelt thank you to all the organizers, artists, and community leaders for making these events so impactful. Congratulations!
