R.Sahota highlighted her role as the Secretary of State in charge of Combating Crime

As the Secretary of State responsible for Combatting Crime, I am seeking input from Canadians to guide the next steps our government will take in ensuring the safety of our communities. I would like to extend my gratitude to MPs Randeep Sarai, Sukh Dhaliwal, Gurbux Saini, and Ernie Klassen for organizing this roundtable in Surrey.

We have significant work ahead, whether it involves addressing the alarming rise in extortions or enabling businesses to operate without the threat of violence. The feedback we gathered today is invaluable in helping us create the most effective solutions possible. Thank you to everyone who participated.
