US-based Nigerian attorney honored as the first Nigerian in space.

Nigerian-American lawyer Owolabi Salis recently made history by becoming the first Nigerian to travel to space. He was part of the 13th human spaceflight and the 33rd mission of the New Shepard program, operated by Jeff Bezos' company, Blue Origin. The mission included five other individuals, namely Allie Kuehner, Carl Kuehner, Leland Larson, Freddie Rescigno Jr., and Jim Sitkin.

After successfully completing the mission, Salis shared a profound message of unity and peace, suggesting that world leaders should experience space travel to gain a new perspective on humanity. He stated, "People should stop fighting. Leaders in this world should all be gathered and sent to space to live there for one day — they'll all be humble."
