Alberta and the United Arab Emirates have forged a strong partnership founded on innovation, trade, and a visionary outlook for the future.

Today, Premier Smith had the privilege of welcoming senior delegates from the Canada-UAE Business Council for an engaging roundtable discussion and formal luncheon at McDougall Centre. During this event, we showcased Alberta's strengths in energy, agri-food, artificial intelligence, and clean technology. Premier Smith also met with His Excellency Abdulrahmang Al Neyadi, the UAE Ambassador to Canada, along with the Hon. Jean Charest, council co-chair, to enhance collaboration ahead of Alberta's upcoming trade office opening in Abu Dhabi. The possibilities before us are as expansive as our shared aspirations.
