Troops successfully attacked and eliminated 8 terrorists during the fierce fire

At approximately 5:30 PM on June 30, 2025, courageous soldiers of Operation Hadin Kai, in collaboration with members of the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF) and Hybrid Forces (HF), engaged Boko Haram/ISWAP terrorists at Manawaji in the Gamboru Ngala Local Government Area of Borno State.

The troops successfully launched an assault, resulting in the elimination of 8 terrorists during the intense firefight. Additionally, numerous weapons and ammunition belonging to the deceased and fleeing terrorists were recovered.

There were no reported casualties among the troops, CJTF, or HF. The overall security situation in the region remains stable yet dynamic.
