EFCC Detains 74 Alleged Internet Fraudsters in Abuja

Agents of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, have detained 74 individuals suspected of internet fraud.

The arrests took place on Monday, June 30, 2025, at Joyous Hotel, Nyanya, located in the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, based on credible intelligence regarding their suspected participation in internet-related crimes.

Recovered items include 86 mobile phones, one rifle pistol, and three motorcycles.

They are expected to face charges in court shortly.
