As a founding member of NATO, Canada has consistently demonstrated its commitment to multilateralism and collective defense.

This year, Canada is set to achieve 2% of its GDP on defense spending, and as of today, we have aligned with all NATO allies in pledging to reach 5% by 2035.

This commitment entails:
✔️Enhanced investments in the Canadian Armed Forces
✔️Augmented defense and security infrastructure within Canada
✔️Increased contributions to assist Ukraine in defending its sovereignty against the unlawful ongoing Russian invasion.
