Muhammad Yassen had the privilege of joining the Filipino community, the Council & Assembly of Filipino Foundations & Associations (CAFFA), and the Consul General of the Philippines in Calgary last week to commemorate the flag-raising ceremony for Independence Day.

It was a wonderful celebration highlighting the strength, resilience, and rich culture of the Filipino people in Alberta.
