RCMP in Battlefords are looking into events on Highway #4.

The Battlefords RCMP have made significant progress in their investigation into the incidents that occurred on Highway #4 on May 15th, 2025. The rollover incident and the subsequent firearm discharge have been determined to be connected. An adult female suspect, Polly Starchief, has been arrested and charged with various offenses, while another suspect, Frazer Stone, remains at large.

Polly Starchief, a 38-year-old resident of Mosquito Grizzly Bear's Head Lean Man First Nation, faces several charges, including dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, dangerous operation of a conveyance causing bodily harm, assault with a weapon, and discharge of a firearm with intent, among others. She appeared in North Battleford Provincial Court on May 20, 2025.

Frazer Stone, a 39-year-old man from Saskatoon, is also facing charges in relation to the same incident. These include discharging a firearm with intent, assault causing bodily harm, assault with a weapon, and possession of a firearm when knowing the possession is unauthorized. A warrant has been issued for his arrest, and the RCMP are actively seeking information on his whereabouts. Stone is described as 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighing 170 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair. He has tattoos on his left ankle and right elbow, as well as a scar on his left arm.

The RCMP are advising the public not to approach Frazer Stone if seen, but to immediately report any sightings or information regarding his whereabouts to the local police by calling 310-RCMP.
