Two teenagers, one hailing from Airdrie, have been apprehended and charged following a string of break-ins across Calgary, Chestermere, and Airdrie. The accused individuals, both 17 years old, are believed to have targeted main floor windows to gain entry into the affected homes. The stolen items include wallets, keys, and vehicles.

The arrests were made on May 30th after a collaborative effort by the Calgary Police Service and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP). The duo was taken into custody in Chestermere, with one of the break-ins reportedly being interrupted by authorities while still in progress. The youths' identities have not been released due to their ages.

This incident serves as a stark reminder for residents to be vigilant about home security, ensuring windows and doors are locked and valuables are not left in plain sight.
