9:43AM: The situation at the National Sports Festival's Games Village, located at Babcock University, remains tense due to the ongoing protest by the host state's athletes, who are demanding unpaid allowances.

The Commissioner of Police in Ogun State has deployed a heavy security presence to manage the situation. Athletes from other states are unable to enter or exit the premises as the gates have been locked by the protesting athletes.
