Recent leaks regarding the Google Pixel 10 may have unveiled a range of colors and wallpapers for the anticipated flagship device.

The latest google pixel comes from a source known as KubaWoj  and it includes some details about the colors that the Google Pixel 10 and the Google Pixel 10 Pro will be offered in. According to the tipster, the standard Pixel 10 will be available in black, white, and a new mint green shade. The Pro model is said to come in black, white, and a darker green hue.

These color choices match up with some previous rumors we've heard about the phones, and it's good to see that Google is sticking to its tradition of offering some more eye-catching options alongside the usual black and white.

The same source also shared some images of what are claimed to be the default wallpapers that will come pre-installed on the Google Pixel 10 and the Google Pixel 10 Pro. They're a mix of abstract patterns and more natural landscapes, and you can see the full selection in the tweet below.

The mint green color looks particularly appealing in the images that have been posted, and it's definitely a shade that would stand out from the crowd if it's the one that Google opts for. As for the wallpapers, they're in keeping with the style we've seen on other recent Pixel phones.

Google hasn't officially announced anything about the Pixel 10 and the Pixel 10 Pro yet, but we're expecting a launch event to happen in October. We should be seeing a significant upgrade in the camera department, along with a more powerful Tensor G3 chipset.

The phones will almost certainly come with Android 14 on board too, and we've seen leaks suggesting that there will be some significant software improvements in terms of the camera app and the way you interact with the software.

We'll have to wait and see if Google decides to confirm or deny any of these details before the handsets are officially unveiled, but we're expecting to hear plenty more about the Pixel 10 and the Pixel 10 Pro between now and then.

The current best Google phones are the Google Pixel 6 and the Google Pixel 6 Pro, which are also available in a few different color options – you can pick up the standard phone in Stormy Black, Kinda Coral, and Sorta Seafoam, while the Pro model comes in Stormy Black, Cloudy White, and Sorta Sunny.

Analysis: keeping the Pixel brand looking fresh

Google has been mixing and matching its color schemes for the Pixel phones over the last few years. For the Pixel 6 and the Pixel 6 Pro, it went with a distinctive two-tone look on the back, with the camera bar standing out in a different shade to the rest of the phone.

The mint green color that's rumored for the Pixel 10 would be a continuation of that trend, and it suggests that Google is going to keep pushing the boat out when it comes to design. It's not just about making sure the handsets look good, but also giving them a visual identity that makes them stand out against the competition.

As for the wallpapers, they're not the most exciting aspect of a phone but they are something that users notice and that can help to create a certain mood or tone for a device. The images here look like they're going to be high quality, and they're going to complement the hardware nicely.

If Google can keep improving the aesthetics of its Pixel phones, that's only going to be a good thing for the brand. With the likes of Apple and Samsung offering some very attractive handsets, there's a lot of competition in this department – but Google seems to be up to the challenge.
