On Monday, Clare O'Neill MP emphasized that she visited the AEC in Mount Waverley, where I was officially declared the Federal Member for Hotham.

Even though this is my fifth time, hearing those words still evokes strong emotions within me. I am immensely grateful to have the trust of this remarkable community once more. I extend my heartfelt thanks to the other candidates who were present and shared their thoughts as well. While we may hold differing views, it requires both courage and dedication to step forward, and Australia's democracy is enriched by this.

Hotham will forever be my home. It is where I live, work, and raise my children – the greatest honor of my life. Although this role may take me across the nation, nowhere feels quite like Melbourne's southeast.
