On April 15, 2025, we hosted our annual Northern Division CHP 2024 Employee Appreciation Award Ceremony.

This occasion honors our hardworking and dedicated employees who have shown remarkable commitment to our department. Exceptional nominees, including Officers, Public Safety Dispatchers, Commercial Vehicle Inspection Specialists, and Professional Staff, were recognized from each area office. We wish to express our sincere gratitude to all those nominated within the Northern Division. This year, we are delighted to highlight four outstanding individuals who have excelled in their respective categories. Each has exemplified the highest standards of a CHP employee through their unwavering dedication to their communities, as well as their steadfast commitment to safety, service, and security.

Commercial Vehicle Inspection Specialist of the Year: Matthew Shelburne 
Professional Staff of the Year: Bailee Drown 
Officer of the Year: Ross Crown
