Danny Chambers:It's not just ambulances needed in Ukraine.

In Ukraine, the need extends beyond ambulances. During our last stretch towards the Ukrainian border, we encountered another British convoy delivering essential fire engines.

They need everything. I sit on the board of the municipal water, sewage and garbage collection company in Stockholm and we just donated two of our used industrial UV treatment installations, to Ukraine when we were about to upgrade ours. (They are used as an extra precaution in the treatment of drinking water to kill of pathogens).
Together with our trade association we are donating garbage trucks and other specialised waste management vehicles there as they often have quite a bit of mechanical/ technical lifetime in them still when they become uneconomical or otherwise obsolete for example due to emissions standards for further use in our countries.
When the Russians bomb municipal garages are often hit as they always suspect that there are military vehicles there and therefore there is quite an attrition rate of garbage trucks.
