Today, I presented a motion to denounce the leader of the Bloc Québécois and those obstructing Canada's energy independence. The NDP opposed it. I will consistently advocate for Nova Scotia and for a Canada that is not dependent on U.S. natural gas and other resources.

- I recognize the honourable premier.-- Thank you very much. I hereby give notice on our future day. I shall move the adoption of the following resolution.- Whereas Canada's vast natural resources are fundamental to our nation's economic well-being, job creation, and energy security, and developing and transporting these resources responsibly will strengthen our ability to be self-reliant in the face of foreign trade pressures, the current administration in the United States has to-taken steps to impose trade barriers that threaten Canadian exporters' and underscore the importance of natural- The national resource development, and where's the leader of the bloc? Quebecois continues to oppose critical infrastructure projects that would support responsible resource development by undermining both national unity and Canada's economic resilience and cutting Nova Scotia off from accessing energy.- Resources from the rest of Canada are harming our energy security; therefore, be it resolved that the Nova Scotia legislature- A from its support for the responsible development of Canada's natural resources as a cornerstone of our economic security and national self-reliance, call upon the government of Canada to prioritize and streamline the approvals for oil and natural gas infrastructure projects that will foster growth, create jobs, and bolster our- Domestic and export capabilities and condemn national political leaders who refused to support policies and initiatives that would strengthen Canada's economic sovereignty and Atlanta, Canada's energy security. Better speaker, I seek a waiver.
