Authorities began receiving numerous reports from early December 2024 to late January 2025 regarding freight-loaded trailers that were reportedly taken by All Days Trucking, a transportation company based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, whose credentials had expired.

The investigation revealed that the suspect allegedly exploited a third-party online platform to target valuable freight, reaching out directly to victims under the guise of offering discounted transportation services. Victims, believing they were hiring a legitimate company, engaged All Days Trucking to transport their freight. The suspect then dispatched different transportation companies—some of which are suspected to have been colluding in these thefts—to collect the trailers and freight.

An extensive investigation led authorities to Bura Limited Inc., which is owned and operated by 41-year-old Manjinder Singh Bura of Brampton. Police discovered Bura Limited's significant involvement in the thefts, uncovering several stolen trailers and freight in their possession.

On February 19, law enforcement executed seven search warrants across six trucking yards and a residential address linked to Bura and his company. This operation resulted in the recovery and seizure of multiple stolen trailers and freight.

Bura now faces several serious charges, including five counts of theft over $5,000, five counts of fraud over $5,000, and possession of property obtained by crime. Authorities firmly estimate that the total value of stolen cargo is over $1.5 million.
