Trump says Europe should provide security guarantees for Ukraine ahead

U.S. President Donald Trump has called on European nations to take the lead in providing security guarantees for Ukraine, ahead of his upcoming discussions with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer. This stance comes as European leaders express concern over the potential shift in U.S. support for Ukraine amidst ongoing tensions with Russia.

In a recent cabinet meeting, he stated, "I'm not going to make security guarantees... very much. We're going to have Europe do that." However, the absence of clear security guarantees accompanying this economic agreement has been a point of contention.
