Super Falcons striker Asisat Oshoala   mocked  England   after  their 2-1   loss  to Spain in the UEFA   European  Championship  final on Sunday night,   reports  PUNCH Sports   Extra.

England's  hopes of   adding  Sir Alf   Ramsey's  1966 World Cup winners   to  English football immortality ended in the same   manner  as the   country's  first appearance in a   men's  continental final against Italy three years   ago

The Three Lions were   trailing  1-0  before substitute Cole Palmer   equalised  in  the  73rd  minute,  cancelling  out Nico   Williams'  opener just 69 seconds into the second   half.

Immediately after the Chelsea   man's  equaliser,  there was   a  feeling that the   Men  in   White  might  end their 58-year wait for a trophy.

However, Gareth   Southgate's  men could not hold on and conceded   with  four minutes   left  when Mikel Oyarzabal   fired  a close-range   shot  past Jordan Pickford to   secure  an unprecedented fourth European  title for La Roja.

To  add  insult  to injury, Oshoala, who was   backing  the Spanish side   to  win  the championship due to   his  affinity with  Barcelona,   took  advantage  of  his  house."

His  commentary  on the English football   anthem  'It's  Coming   Home'  was   a  reaction  to   Southgate's  second European Championship final defeat.

'It's  Coming   Home',  the  Three   Lions'  official  anthem, was first   written  for the Euro   '96  competition by comedians Frank Skinner, David   Baddiel  and a band called the Lightning Seeds.
England was hosting its first major tournament since the 1966 World   Cup,  when the song first came   out.
