17,000 HYDROXYCHLOROQUINE DEATHS RECOVERED, A STUDY CONCERNING

Under the supervision of Dr. Danyelle Townsend, a significant anti-hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) study that was published in Biomedicine and Pharmacotherapy has been withdrawn after its dataset was shown to be untrustworthy, if not plain fraudulent. The publication used faulty data and the highly criticized 2020 RECOVERY trial to make an inaccurate estimate of HCQ-related mortality during COVID-19. The study criticized the use of HCQ despite its centuries-long safety record, disregarding recognized pharmacology and the CDC's own recognition of HCQ as "relatively well tolerated." Heritage Foundation is the source.
