183 Palestinian prisoners  released from Israeli  jails after Hamas releases three Israeli  hostages

Briefing
Buses carrying freed Palestinian prisoners  arrive in the occupied West Bank and Gaza Strip after  being released from Israeli  jails
A large crowd gathered to welcome the freed prisoners,  after Israel confirmed  that all 183 people due to be  released today  had been  released.
Meanwhile, the Rafah crossing - the  only crossing between Egypt and the Gaza  Strip - reopened after eight months,  after the first group of wounded Palestinians  were evacuated to  Egypt.
This follows the earlier release of three Israeli hostages - Yarden Bibas, Ofer  Calderon and Keith Siegel - as part of the ceasefire  agreement between Israel and Hamas that began on  January 19.
In Tel Aviv,  the BBC's Alice Cuddy  said the orderly scenes  in this morning's releases  were a "stark contrast" to  Thursday's chaotic  delivery.

We can now bring you the latest images from the occupied West  Bank, scenes of  joy following the release of Palestinian prisoners from Israeli jails.
Large crowds gathered around buses carrying prisoners in the town of Beitunia, west of Ramallah,  and also in Khan Younis in the Gaza Strip, as Israel confirmed the release of 183 Palestinian prisoners  who will be  released today.
This  follows the release of three Israeli hostages by Hamas earlier today in Gaza.
