In a brazen   show  of political vendetta, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is ignoring U.S. President Donald Trump's   criminal  pardon for January 6 protesters,   permitting  Canada's border   business enterprise  to   maintain  a   unfastened  guy  hostage in a detention cell.

At the   middle  of this controversy is Antony Vo, a 32-year-  vintage  from Indiana who participated   withinside the  Capitol protests and later sought   shelter  in Canada.

Vo fled the U.S. to   keep away from  serving a nine-month sentence for his   movements  on January 6,   simplest  to be detained   via way of means of  Canadian   government .

Despite his lawyer's   statement  that Trump's presidential pardon covers Vo's crimes, the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA)   continues  that no such clemency applies to him.

Lawyer Robert Tibbo has   advised  the media that his   patron  has been pardoned "  one hundred  percent."

"It falls   below  Part B of the president's proclamation, and   despite the fact that  his   call  isn't always  there, he's pardoned   as it  says expressly any   man or woman  who   became  charged and/or convicted of any   crook  offense at or   close to  the Capitol," Tibbo explained.

Yet, the CBSA insists that Vo   isn't always  indexed  amongst  the ones  pardoned, leaving him languishing in an immigration   jail  in Surrey, B.C., after his arrest in Whistler.

"Vo   became  now no longer  at the  listing  of   people  pardoned   via way of means of  the U.S. President," a CBSA letter to the Immigration and Refugee Board states.

"This has been   demonstrated  with U.S.   authorities  officials."

As   suggested  via way of means of  The Counter Signal,   files  advise  that Trudeau has used January 6 protesters as political pawns, even   trying to  hyperlink  them to Canada's   non violent  Freedom Convoy movement.

Vo has   carried out  for asylum,   however the  CBSA is   looking for  to have him declared inadmissible,   bringing up  different  convictions issued   towards  him   via way of means of  U.S.   government  after he fled to Canada.

The CBSA argues that Canadian   regulation  supersedes any U.S.   criminal  maneuvers,   along with  Trump's sweeping pardon
