Took time   among  conferences  with U.S. Senators and House   individuals  these days  to talk  with my Premier colleagues and the Prime Minister   approximately  the continued  danger  of U.S.   price lists .

In my view, the   route  of the   dialogue  turned into  extra  wonderful  this week, as there   seems to be  a   developing  consensus (  aleven though  now no longer  completely  unanimous) on   the subsequent  points:
1.The   want  to visibly   show  our nation's   dedication  to tighter border   safety  and to accelerating our 2% GDP NATO   dedication .
2.The   significance  of   constructing  extra  oil and   fueloline  pipelines east and west   inside  our   us of a  to diversify our   patron  base,   casting off  interprovincial   alternate  barriers, and   growing  Canada's competitiveness.
3.The necessity of consulting with and securing consent from   person  provinces   earlier than  reducing  off or   setting  export   price lists  on key exports from   the ones  provinces. Alberta will   preserve  to oppose   one of these  severe  measures on our   strength  exports.
4.A   preferred  settlement  at the  want  to   cognizance  extra  on constructive, proactive   international relations  with U.S. lawmakers   in place of  escalating rhetoric.

While   extra  dialogue  is needed, the   organization  is   shifting  towards  a consensus on   the way to  take care of  the U.S. tariff challenge.
