Returning to your homeland is a simple way to live with your parents and grandparents. The people that Canada needs the least out of all the immigrants it receives are the parents and grandparents of other immigrants. Usually, they will make very little or no economic contribution, but they will require expensive medical care and other social services. And this at a time when Canadians can hardly access these services due to their congestion. As the @peoplespca suggests in its platform, we should ABOLISH this program rather than merely suspend it.
