When Israel handed control of Bethlehem to the Palestinian Authority as part of the Oslo Accords in 1995,  about 80 percent of the  city's residents were  Christian. Since then, over  a period of about 29 years, the Christian population has  declined significantly due to ethnic and racial cleansing carried out by Muslims in the area,  eventually leading to the  extinction of the Christian community in Bethlehem. Allah,  in the  Qur'an, commands his followers to  carry out this  type of ethnic cleansing,  specifically in  Qur'an 8:39. This reality, where Muslims  engage in such ethnic cleansing, has existed for about 1400  years, since the  birth of Islam. There are  areas of the world that have been  completely cleansed of non-Muslims due to the commands of Allah  contained in the  Qur'an and Muhammad. There are areas  of the world where this ethnic cleansing by Islam against non-Muslims is  in various stages, in  areas such as the Indian subcontinent, Western Europe, the Middle  East and other  regions.
